StoneBreaker Gloves Groundskeeper Large Work Glove, Large,

StoneBreaker Gloves Groundskeeper Large Work Glove, Large, Charcoal

I read a review which prompted me to buy these gloves. I work in construction and own a remodeling company. I regularly where through the fingers and sometimes blue part seems and what I would consider to be fairly expensive gloves, so I expect very little from a new pair of gloves because of this track record. As it turns out, the Stonebraker gloves fit like… Well… A glove and have outlasted every other pair of gloves I've ever purchased even at three times the price. They are not the least expensive gloves of ever purchased, but the purchase value is certainly the highest. I know keep several of these gloves in rotation. They fit so well, but I actually use them on a daily basis as a mild weather glove instead of a dressier and more vulnerable-to-damage synthetic glove. As gloves become soiled, I use them for dirtier and dirtier tasks. These gloves have held up exceptionally well to all kinds of construction demolition tree cutting, yardwork, stonework, and everything else I could possibly throw at them. Truly the best workouts I've ever owned and I've been in construction for 30 years

I'm a CNC router machinist. This means on a daily bases, I'm coming in contact with thinner, oil, metal chips, and any other number of materials you don't want your skin to come in contact with.

In other words, I eat through gloves like they're nothing. Traditional hide gloves work, but only for a week or so in my profession. Eventually, they all break down.

These are the best gloves I've ever owned. I've been using them for over a month now, and there are still no signs of wear.

When the time comes for me to buy another pair of gloves, it will be these.

I deliver propane tanks. #15 lbs for your grill. I found these a couple of years ago and this is the ONLY glove I use anymore. Fantastic gloves !! A pair of gloves will last me about 3 months. Yes, I know that that does not sound like allot....but you have to consider that in that time frame...I have "pitched" around 15,000 full tanks and about 99% of the time I am bringing back an empty tank. Think of it this way. Last year I did a little over 67,000 tanks. I used up 6 pairs. I have owned now maybe 20 pairs and have Never gotten a bad pair. Always last good and protect your hands well. Forms well to your hand. Nice and snug. A little hot in the Illinois summer but you really don't notice it. They get a little stiff the next morning from the sweat and salt but, loosen up easily. One of the best pair of gloves that I have ever bought and I will continue to buy these faithfully. Hell, I sent a pair to my Nephew when he got a new job and was so frustrated that he could not find quality gloves that last. So I sent him a pair and he loves them. There is one "mod" I would make to them but that's kinda job specific I guess. I always "blow out" the "pinky" first. But, a little bit of Gorilla Tape fixes that until I thrash the rest of the glove. Wish they made a winter version of these as well. With a little bit of insulation in them. Illinois winters can be brutal and these don't keep your warm in 0 deg. weather.

Originally this was a Christmas gift for my father. Upon looking at other reviews, I was told that the sizes run slightly larger...but I bought the mediums anyways because that's his general hand size thinking they still fit him. They didn't fit him...they did fit me perfectly though and I am a larger hand size. I ended up keeping them because the quality was impressive and I didn't want to be bothered doing the whole return process.

These things are great. I am not one normally to wear gloves working because it inhibits my dexterity, but these proved me wrong. A solid construction where reinforced leather pads are at high wear spots, the stitching is on point, and the breath-ability keeps my hands dry . My hands actually are comfortable. Ive used these from cutting and stacking wood, insulating an attic, and even some tear down projects. I couldn't be happier with these things...I keep them in the back of by truck at all times in case I need them.

They are light, comfortable gloves that protect your hands. The cuff is a little longer and keeps dirt out. The Groundskeeper gloves are the best work glove I have tried for the garden.
I had a little problem, a hole developed early in use and Stonebreaker shipped a replacement pair right away. Great customer service!

Day 1, gave these gloves a run for their money rooting out some serious blackberry vines in our backyard. No fear of getting poked, yanking on dead and alive vines with big thorns and didn’t feel a thing. Also dug my fingers around trying to get up some well-established root balls and they held up just great. Some reviews mentioned not fitting right - got a large as normal and they fit great. The wrist is snug so you can’t just slip em on and off like some cheaper ones, but this means you don’t end up with dirt and junk inside your gloves. This was a little Father’s Day treat to myself so I tried to find the best yard work leather glove options. I’m not disappointed. Did turn my hands a touch yellow after the first use.

On our horse farm, gloves usually last a season (Fall or summer or etc) Work is rough on gloves with haying, fence repairs, hauling stone and cutting /spitting wood for the winter. These gloves fit great and at every stress point there seems to be reinforcements. Have high hopes for them. Bought them large for my hands because in winter I put in liners for warmth.

best medium weight work glove I have ever found. Good fit, tough enough they offer real protection but still pliable enough to actually work in. The pleated wrist band keeps the glove on your hand (it does not allow it to slide off) but still allows for easy removal when you need to use your bare hand. Great glove.

I purchased the Horseman in Large. Buckskin is the most comfortable leather you can buy in a glove. That being said, it is not as durable as a goatskin or cowhide. It forms right to your hand as you wear them in. I got the buckskin because I was looking fro a comfortable fit which is what most horseman want as well. The size chart from the company is spot on if you print it according to their directions. I use them as riding gloves for my motorcycle and love them. I would not use them to lay bricks or round up thorn bushes. Get a tougher set that StoneBreaker makes for that. Very good glove for a very good price.

I fancy myself a handy person and we have undertaken a REAL fixer-upper. I wasn't thrilled with the gloves when I first received them because they weren't exceptionally fashionable. I actually considered returning them, but thankfully I decided to give them a go. Well, let be very clear--if you are going to be doing demolition, ripping carpet up, breaking down walls etc, this is the glove for you. Those terribly dangerous carpet nails were no match for these gloves, drywall, base level moisture, questionable substances, etc were handled by this glove with ease. I am very comfortable with the gloves, but will write back to see how it holds up to wear and tear.
