JORESTECH Eyewear Protective Safety Glasses, Polycarbonate Impact Resistant Lens Pack of 12

JORESTECH Eyewear Protective Safety Glasses, Polycarbonate Impact Resistant Lens Pack of 12 (Clear)

JORESTECH Eyewear Protective Safety Glasses, Polycarbonate Impact Resistant Lens Pack of 12 (Clear)

Purchased the first set for a Nerf battle birthday party (8-9yr olds) --- I know "you'll shoot your eye out" applies to a BB gun, but still :). Sent these home with the guys. They and their moms appreciated a take home that was useful. They were all intact --- and at 2 months later, the ones left at our house are still going strong. Am purchasing again!

Average sets of safety glasses. Fit like any other pair. I have a larger skull so these are a little snug like every other pair I've ever owned. Same quality as well. I work with metal and trust these as much as the ones I was initially provided. They don't scratch too easy and work as expected. 4 stars for being average, nothing special and nothing bad about them

Completely Satisfied.

I needed some clean glasses for night work that required me to wear safety glasses on a construction site. I needed them in two days and said what the heck. Since I don't like scratched glasses and always buy in bulk I chose this deal on Amazon. Very satisfied.

They came packaged in two six packs which was great. One pack went in the truck the other in my safety box at home. I figured over the course of a few weeks I would go through two or three pairs with drops and steps on and scratches or just lost. Only lost one pair that I found later. Pretty scratch resistant and I was cleaning them constantly from all the road dust from cutting and grinding.

These did not squeeze my head and are very light weight. The curve is great so as to no loose peripheral vision. Definitely buy if you are considering.

I paid full price and am no compensated for my rating.

I'm 100% satisfied with these glasses, and I wear them doing anything that might involve any danger to my eyes. I have different pairs in different locations for convenience sake and to provide a "no excuse for not wearing them" situation. As of yet, I have not had anything hit me near my eyes that would do any damage, but if that does happen I have confidence that these glasses will protect my eyes. They seem as sturdy and as well designed as any other safety glasses that I have purchased in the past. Good deal.

We bought these safety glasses for the teens (16-18yrs) to wear during a paint fight. They arrived individually packaged in plastic. They curve around a bit but do not have the side protection like some of the other safety glasses. I was originally concerned that I should have purchased safety goggles (with the side protectors) but I didn't have time to buy anything else before our party. They did have a nice fit... not sloppy or loose. We ended up having several kids get hit in the face by paint balloons and some pretty powerful streams of water(paint) from the waterguns. The glasses worked well protecting them from getting paint or water in their eyes. I had zero complaints... Pretty amazing considering that amount of teens we had participating... Especially with the level of intensity that they were playing with! The kids had a blast, Safely! Overall, I was really happy with the purchase and felt they were a great value!

My first set of inexpensive safety glasses were a dozen (clear) from Bison Life. I liked them so well I bought a dozen more in amber to use on the shooting range. I loved the clear lens glasses, but the problem I had was after taking them off and lying them down, they were so clear I couldn't find them (jeez!). I wanted safety glasses that had some color to them so I could see where I left them. These glasses fit the bill. The blue eyepieces make them easy to spot. And the lenses are clear and non-distorting. And, and, they are inexpensive enough that if you get them scratched, or sand-blasted, you can toss them, and grab a new clear pair. I'll continue to use the Bison Life around my home (where I know where I left them), but on another job site, I'll use these.
One note: these Jorestech earpieces are 1/2" wider in the back than my clear Bison Life, so they don't fit as tight on my head. I'm a 7-1/8 long-oval. So that's not a problem. Both work for me, and neither one slips down or falls off, even if I look down and shake my head around. I just bring that up in case someone has a large head and finds some safety glasses too tight, they might give these a try.

So far so good. I ordered these for my son's Name War party. He is soon to be 7 years old and they fit him fine. I wouldn't say these are kids glasses per se, but they don't fall off his head when running. They are dark but we are using in sunlight. Fast shipping, smart packaging, thanks!!

These fit by big head well. There is a tiny bit of distortion but my eyes adjusted and I forgot it was there. They were so comfortable that I forgot to take them off when starting to drive until I went to put on sunglasses.
They come individually wrapped so no worries about scratches in drawer until opening one.
Others complained of fogging but I was exerting myself and never had an issue. They wrap head tightly, but slight gap for airflow, far less gap than regular glasses on top and bottom and no gap on sides due to design of side pieces.
I like these way better than what I was using and when they scratch (plastic after all) I will toss them and use a new pair.
I really like these. I did purchase them, was not paid for this review, and not affiliated with maker in any way.

I'd have preferred larger lenses and hence larger side shields, but as far as safety standards go, these are the best rated one can get. My last set was a pair of laboratory safety glasses from my undergrad days as a college chemistry major, 32 years ago. Those got dirty, and I ran them through the dishwasher. Unheated dry cycle, top shelf and the old ones still partly melted. They came out very clean, but ruined. I figure this new 12-pack will last me quite a long time.

I'm near-sighted, and when my mother and I trim trees in her neighborhood, I prefer these when dealing with whippy branches instead of corrective lenses. I also have a machine shop in my basement, so a set of these went at every tool station.

They ones I received are not very blurry, at least not enough to be any sort of nuisance. Since nobody makes replacement eyeballs, these are a great deal for the price. The 12-pack allows one set for my garage, one for the metal-cutting bandsaw, one for my mill-drill-lathe, one for my mother's garage, a few giveaways to friends, and a jar of extras in reserve. This means I'll always have a set ready to hand. I have also taken to wearing my leather arc-welding jacket when machining parts, after an accident which had a broken-off drill bit bounce off my chest very hard. No blood was drawn, but I saw where this could potentially lead.

Note: do not run safety glasses through your dishwasher. At least the old set had the advantage of having lasted 32 years. In addition to more regular shop activities, plus Nerf wars and paintball fights mentioned in the comments section, these would likely be pretty good for raquetball. Nobody really wants a ball bouncing off a wall at high speed in their eye. At about a dollar a pair, these are too inexpensive not to use.

The individual - and reusable - plastic wrappings will also help keep them from becoming dusty during periods of disuse. Of course one could always use Ziploc freezer bags for an even more complete covering.

I have a big head, and these fit me well anyway. The limbs expand slightly, and still reach my ears.

I use these safety glasses as normal sunglasses, and i really like them. They have all the benefits of safety glasses, and they are pretty good looking sunglasses as well. For someone that loses their sunglasses all the time (as I do) at $2 a pair, you can afford to not stress over losing them. I have even had people say that they like the glasses. The only thing about these is the large label on the side (which I took off with acetone).
