Took a little while to break in, but once I did they worked great. Comfortable once broken in and they stood up to some hard work. I cut down a pine tree then dug out the stump...doesn't much more intense than that in the back yard. For the price I suspect they will eventually rip but I will certainly purchase again.
The only downside is I got a blister while breaking them in. But whatever, like I said I have big hands so they'll probably fit your fine.
Tractor Supply was my usual supplier of such which had another layer of thin leather on palm but took awhile to break them in.
So love these delivered to door, no break in period, good to go, added palm pad judged not needed, easy to replace via PRIME
Love these heavy duty gloves! Even though they tend to be big on my hands, they really protect my fingers and hands while I'm doing yard work or construction. They are amazingly tough. You won't be sorry if you order them. And your hands will love you!

My husband loves these work gloves! He says they are mych better quality than similar ones I typically buy at Ace Hardware. He says they are a bit snug at first but stretch out after a day or so.
