Just follow the steps and you are perfectly fine...
6 months UPDATE: This is the best thing I ever bought on Amazon...

I bought this for my grandma, after my dogs had ripped holes in her sliding screen door. She primarily uses her deck door to let her pets in and out and for this purpose, the magnetic door is perfect. It went on easily and takes all of 30 seconds to remove and put up again. My grandma is a tiny lady and her dogs are also small so this will work for her - my 6’2” husband, however, had to duck and turn sideways to get back inside. If you plan on using this with a sliding door that is used often by people, it’s probably not for you but if you’re looking for something easy to use during the warm days for your pets to get in and out, it’s purr-fect. 👍🏽

Finding this magnetic screen has changed my world for the better! Seriously. I have four children, two cats and a dog. During the Spring & Fall months when the weather is nice enough to open our French doors that lead to our deck, we were never able to because of mosquitoes/flies/moths/bees getting into the house. This screen changed all that! It was easy for my husband and I to install, has held up extremely well and the animals are able to come in and out without issue. Buy it!

Have this for a week now and really happy with the purchase.
Easy install, used the thumb tacks in the door trim.
Dog was quick to figure out how to use it.
Works best with both doors open.
Beats the Anderson price of 800.00 to add screen doors

I bought 2 sets of these for French doors on opposite sides of the room & the cross breeze that goes through is amazing. I just had about 30 guest & all were amazed how easy it was to go through without problems no bugs have entered & pleasing to the eyes. I saw a few with stripes going down which personally I didn't like, these were exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely recommend. Easy set up did use the velcro & tacks just for reinforcement. Had them about a month.

It was easy to put up however I wish I would have taken more time to align the Velcro and put it up evenly. The seam is in the middle and since my double doors are just one door, it’s a bit of a hassle for tall folks going in and out. Definitely have to duck since the seam is at the edge of the door frame. However, it still works great if there isn’t a ton of tall human traffic in and out. My dog is constantly wanting to go in and out and this way, I can just leave the door open and he can come and go as he pleases without letting flies and bees into the house.

It only took him a few tries to get it... first very apprehensively but now he goes through it at full speed. Granted he’s 70 pounds so he could go through a regular screen with ease. The 15 pound dog that visits was much harder to train but she still manages to get under it if she needs to come inside.

I was worried about losing the view but this screen is a very fine mesh that looks great!

This is a nice find. They are considerably more money at the home improvement stores. The material feels pretty heavy duty and seems like it will take a beating. I have little kids who love to run in and out of the house who also forget to close the door behind them. This should keep the bugs with the little ones forget to shut the door. I will try and update the review next summer when I will have a better idea of how well it works or not works over a longer period of time.

Im loving this so far! My sliding screen door eventually broke and home depot wanted $300 to replace it. Hell no! So i tried this and its great! Its even better than a sliding door since they seem to always jam up either at the lock or when trying to slide it out. This is a great inexpensive alternative with magnets tucked in the sleeving to keep it shut.

I installed a set of French Doors on my house to replace the original 1980's circa sliding glass door. The doors looked great, but I wanted to have a screen so that I could take advantage of the cool breeze and fresh air. To install a set of roll-up screens of good quality would cost $300-$400. Eventually I may do this but for now, I wanted to keep my cost down since I have numerous other home improvement projects to get done before winter. This screen fit the bill well. The cost was minimal, and it keeps the bugs out. It installed quickly and looks OK. Perhaps not as finished a look as a roll-up sliding screen, but at 1/10th the cost, it is very adequate. My dogs quickly learned how to go through it which something that will never be possible with a roll-up sliding screen.

I had a different kind of screen door flap prior to this one. It almost never closed properly. This one is working great! It closes just like the video shows. I did have to use extra tacks that were a little more durable as the included ones didn't all hold up to being tacked in (with a tack hammer, not a BFH). It was wide enough for my french doors that I doubled over the excess on the sides. It does work very well once it is up and hanging the right way.
