This is the latest model Sundance Spas ClearRay UV replacement bulb with gloves and instructions for replacement. Was an exact replacement for the bulb in my 2016 Jacuzzi 585.
Funny how these $70 bulbs last so consistently to just over a year that they can be tracked on a calendar. Anyway, if your spa water all of a sudden gets cloudy despite the chemicals being maintained you most likely need to replace this bulb and clean the glass tube it fits within.
If you have an older spa with the older style bulb you will need to make the changes needed to convert to this bulb (connector and possibly glass tube) as the older style is no longer being made. The trade-off for not using the ClearRay system is using more chemicals and still not having as clear of water.
Good delivery time and packaged well. I'm happy with the product and even happier with the instructions that came with it. Don't over think it, simple to install. The bulb has been working fine since I installed. No problems so far. Apparently the bulbs have a life of a year and aren't cheap. Compared to the spa store this is definitely the way to go. This one was about half the price of the store. The clerk suggested I buy online! I will buy again from this seller. Sorry spa store but I already bought a tub from you!
We always try and make the most of the budget. Our Sundance hot tub was at it's year and the display stated we needed to change the bulb. Within the month the water started to cloud a bit, we adjusted chemicals but did not help and we needed a lot more to balance. Decided to change the bulb, ordered this one and water cleared up within 2 days and has been clear ever since. These bulbs really cut down on the chemicals!!
The product is as advertised. My only gripe would be that the installation instructions are less then adequate for what is a very touchy installation. People with limited mechanical ability would do well to have a professional install it.
Went right in. No need to drain. I had my old bulb in for 2 years. But we use the tub seasonal only. But I noticed chem use was going up a bunch! New one brought it back down!

Does what I need it to do. Replacing the bulb does NOT require removal of the quartz tube. Removing the quartz tube DOES require the tub to be drained.
After reading other reviews I called our Sundance Spa dealer to make sure the XL bulb would work in our Ramona 680 and they assured me it would. It was easy to replace and fit perfectly. It was also cheaper here than the dealer.
Exact replacement for my Jacuzzi tub bulb at 1/36 the cost of the local Jacuzzi store. Replaced myself in 30 minutes with no issue. Turned on... works.
This is a perfect fit replacement for my Jacuzzi J325's clear ray bulb. It is 20% for the bulb portion but fits perfectly. The extra 20% refers to the effective length of the tube. Super easy install.
Not really sure what this does but it was easy to install and codes on spa said we needed it. Good instructions
