Used these to fire a wood kiln (approx. 12hrs total over two shifts). They proved far better than the leather welders' gloves that people generally use (despite the fact that same welders' gloves start burning when you get near the kiln door!) I am not convinced that they'll last through a lot of firings, however, because they are already getting fuzzy on the finger tips as if the fibers are already starting to tear.
i really love these gloves for cooking over gas or charcoal very heat resistant and comfy for long cooking sessions. And you can put cleaning gloves over them if you’ve got hot food to deal with too
