I work for a pipeline company.....the company provides the white leather gloves pictured...... The brown jersey gloves make a great liner.... I can't wait to run a shovel....in cold weather
This review is for the G & F 4408 cotton gloves.
I love these things - gardening, working in the garage, in the basement workshop these gloves are nearly perfect.
They're inexpensive and do a decent job of keeping blisters to a minimum and dirt/grease off of my hands. Note that they're not so much great for pruning rose bushes, they can't protect against sharp stickers.
I keep a pair in my 4x4 toolbox - you never know when you (or some one else) will have a vehicle problem requiring you to get your hands dirty.
Fit is O.K., I wear size "large" winter dress gloves in leather and these cotton gloves in "large" are just about right.

My hubby is a diesel mechanic. We treat these mostly as disposable gloves as he gets them rather oily, greasy rather fast. I buy these all the time and will continue to buy them. They work GREAT for us!
If you're looking for some great comfortable/soft work gloves, then you should order these affordable gloves. They are soft(mainly feel like cotton), medium thickness so you can feel what you're working on, and protect your hands/fingers from dirt. They are NOT heavy duty work gloves that will protect you from cuts and bruises/etc, but they will keep your hands clean and offer better protection then say latex gloves for sure. If your work on your car, or in the garden and so on, and you want to keep your hands clean, you can't go wrong with these gloves. I think you can wash them(I haven't done that yet), but they are not very large, so they might shrink a bit(like cotton usually does) so maybe a better way will be to get them as dirty as you can live with and then toss them for a new pair. They are pretty affordable(about 70 cents a pair) for that purpose... one thing that can be improved upon is if they had a bit longer(by a couple of inches) knit wrist cuff so they can protect your wrists and them clean specially when doing car work... Other than that they are a very good deal!
For sure didn't need the "bulk quantity" of this packaging, but the gloves are exactly what I wanted. I work outside in the winter and need to be able to access a notebook and write notes. My normal winter gloves are just too bulks to do that. By no means are these winter gloves, but for what I need them for, they work great!

Cloth gloves are very nice to wear while working in the yard and for going on walks when it is a bit chilly outside, as my hands get chilly from swinging them. They're also good for wearing under winter gloves when it is really cold outside. Getting a dozen pairs of gloves for 10 bucks is a great buy, but I really did not need that many, so I gave half to my dad. They are a little large for me, but I am only 5"1'. But they are not so large as to make them unusable, and they fit my dad just fine (he's 5'5"). I'm not sure if I've been wearing the same pair or not as I just grab two out of a bag, but none of them are worn out yet, and I've worn and washed them several times. I've washed them in warm water and put them in the dryer without any damage to them. So for the price, I am giving them five stars.
I ordered these gloves in anticipation of laying 250 concrete pavers and 56 concrete retaining wall blocks. This was not the first time I had done this but never quite so many. Having gone through multiple pairs of gloves on previous projects, I wanted to have a sufficient supply on hand. I expected to use up two or three pair a day. One pair usually sufficed and I still have plenty for my summer's gardening. These are utility gloves and not the highest quality of jersey gloves out there but for the price are a bargain. Also, the delivery was prompt and the packaging more than adequate.
Affordable and NICE! We do lots of odd jobs and yard work in Alaska- from hauling brush, hauling wood, building fences, shoveling, planting gardens, and these are perfect. They are also great for a jogging/ hiking/cycling glove. All round handy glove for the million things that come up around here! My husband has XL hands and they fit great and they fit my med- large women's hands as well. Happy customers- will buy again.
These are perfect for my hubby's needs. He has very dry, cracked hands and likes to smooth on Aquafor at bedtime and then put on these gloves to keep from getting it all over the place. They are cheap but still work well for him. He also takes a few pair to work (he's a truck driver) and although his hands are a little too large for these gloves, they still work okay for helping when he needs to work with greasy dirty stuff, etc. A great value! Will buy these again!
I paid about 85 cents a pair for these, and they're perfect for what I need. They're great for layering under leather gloves or warm enough to wear on their own, they even seem to be a tad bit waterproof and didn't start soaking up the snow for the first 8 hours of use. Buy them.
