Recently used these gloves at a Spartan Race without modification (i.e., I didn't cut off the fingertips). They performed well above my expectations in terms of enhancing my grip and protecting my hands through the whole race, and were more durable than expected. They were a legitimate game changer in my performance on monkey bars/hanging rope rig, atlas hoist, and made other hard-on-the hands obstacles much better (e.g., bucket carry). I didn't find them too warm/sweaty, although race weather was a mild 65-70. I also found that they dried out well (especially with some judicious scrape downs on dirt/bushes) enough that remaining muddy wasn't a problem. I think even if weather were rainy, these probably would have stayed on through the whole thing as well. What surprised me was that they didn't seem any worse for the wear (no lost rubber pieces) after the race, and after tossing in the washing machine (delicate cycle, air dry afterwards). They'll live to see at least one more Spartan Race which is better than expected. Thumbs up!

I hesitated to buy these gloves after reading some of the recent reviews. However, I tried 4 other types of gloves, none of which were great, only two types good for package handling. The best ones fell apart after about 10 days of work. The other good pair (also Ironclad brand) is not made strictly for package handling, so the gripping was marginal.
So, I decided to try these. I am extremely happy with them. After more than 3 weeks of hard work, they are still in great condition. I have not had a problem with the rubber pieces that other people had problems with falling off. The last two weeks I have worn them and handled 500-1000 packages a day.
The gripping is great and I find that it helps my day go more smoothly. I have fewer problems dropping packages and these gloves make me more efficient at work. My supervisor is very happy with my pace, which these gloves help a lot with.
I am thrilled that I tried them. I've been thinking about buying another pair to have in reserve but these haven't even started to show wear. So I will wait for a while to see how long these last.
The only (very minor) negative is that they are of such high quality that they are slightly warm but I don't mind. It is worth it for such great gloves.

I have to go with a previous poster and say most negative reviews must be for an older product, because these are pretty great. I recently picked up a part-time job as an unloader at a pretty big shipping company. Depending on what's in the trailer, I move thousands of boxes an hour. I had a backlog of some mechanix-type gloves I used at first. Those are tore up in about a week. Packages would also slip from my hands sometimes.

The hand surface area is really tacky/rubbery, so it provides an awesome grip. I've been using them for weeks, and so far no signs they are about to rip anywhere.

The only downside I could possibly give is, since they have that rubbery surface, and if you're unloading, you're inevitably going to sweat a lot, they can get a little stinky after awhile. I never checked if possible to wash, but definitely recommend sitting them out overnight to air out, rather than leaving in a backpack or something.

I do not think you'll find an unloader/loader glove in existence that will stand the test of time against the job for too long, but at least these have lasted past everything else I've used, so value for the money is totally worth it.

Purchased for manual labor work in a UPS warehouse. I got tired of using cheap gloves that ripped so I got these. First thing out the box you notice how cool they look. Also very comfortable have used them for a week. Also the glove protects the back of your hand some which is underrated. The most important feature of course which is the grip. Good grip but I thought it be “grippier”. Only con is that I bought them too big so please measure your hand and don’t guesstimate like I did lol.

I'm a female UPS driver, and also work morning sort. These fit well, are warm, but not hot, and help keep a grip on all boxes and such. Plus offer good protection. Only dislike is the fingers are a little long on me, so I lose my ability to perform little tasks. Getting things out of pockets, using my DIAD, zipping jacket, and such. So when I'm driving/delivering, I leave the right glove off to handle all the little tasks. I may just snip a couple finger tips off, cause what's the point of only wearing one glove. I feel like people with normal hands will have no problem doing all tasks.

My boyfriend works at FedEx as a driver and loves these gloves. We went through so many different gloves it was ridiculous. Ypu name it, we've probably tried it. From gloves at Home Depot to other gloves on Amazon, and even gloves that were given to us by my mom when she worked in a warehouse. I even spent over $40(including shipping) on ONE pair on Uline and they ripped the second week. These have lasted for a while now and they're still going. He loves the grip and how durable they are. We will be getting more because there's honestly nothing you can do to wash away the smell of sweaty gloves.

Work as a package handler for a major shipper. I average 2-3 weeks a pair little pricy for that attrition rate but there worth it, only catch is the sticky rubber coating on the most use parts (dominant finger tips and palm) is usually gone by the second day so you can't palm and pull. But they retain enough to be useful. Stitching holds long enough for you to wear holes in the fingers. Only real calm is the absorbent back to wipe your face absorbs chemicals

I purchased these gloves for their exact purpose, handling packages at fedex, part time, as a belt pick/package handler. I can say this, they are comfortable to wear, keep my hands warmer in the cooler air and do still give me flexibility and better grip. The biggest concern for me was still being able to grip everything while still protecting my hands, this does that. My only peeve (and the reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5) is the fact that they wore out and have holes within a month. Towards the end of week 3 I developed a hole in my index finger on the tip. For $20 I would think they would last a bit longer before wearing out. Some of the threading is coming lose along where the rubber/texture underside meets the synthetic leather (covers rest of gloves). For $20, they're worth it, but if I'm going to have to replace them at least once a month like this, it would almost be more cost effective to buy the "cheap" gloves and throw away once a week, at least I'd get them in bulk and even if they wore out once a week, would be cheaper than $20/mo.

I work for FedEx and I am a top loader; gloves grip very well to the boxes; the only problem with it; the fingers were too long for a medium; even though I purchased other Ironclad gloves in medium. A smaller size might be too small around the palm; guess I'm going to have to cut off the finger tips. I think I'll go back to the Ironclad Exo glove.

This is a great work glove. It has the grip I need to handle boxes and the comfort to wear for my shift. They wash easily and can be air dried or placed in the dryer. ( just use caution since they do have rubber) The only con is that they don't keep your hands warm if you work in a seasonally cold environment. Great product! I recommend these gloves.
