The replacement hose/handle is fine, just as advertised. They have made an improvement in the handle that makes suction control more convenient. The inside of the handle is dark red, and my vac is all white, but that is no problem. It's nice to have a new, clean hose that is more flexible. The only negative is not being able to buy just the hose and attach it to my handle, which has no problems; that would certainly save some money. I'll use this source again as needed and can recommend it without reservation.
Bought my Shark vacuum over 10 years ago. It was reasonably priced, and it is a superior cleaning product! After a decade of use - and I have several dogs - this part developed a crack and then a hole and had to be replaced. Well worth it! This part was reasonably priced, too; it literally snapped into place; and my vacuum was good as new! Buy anything shark makes! They make a superior cleaning product at a reasonable price - my Shark vacuum is better than my Dyson, which has been relegated to the garage.
It seemed a little pricey at first but it sure beats having to buy a new vacuum cleaner. My wife is constantly vacuuming so it is not ideal if the vacuum cleaner breaks down. I expect that the "durability" and "value for money" factors will be the same as for the one it replaced. My wife said it was very easy to install and I'm happy I didn't have to drop a bunch of money on a new vacuum cleaner.
I was hesitant to purchase given the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised that it was the same quality and look exactly the same as the original I replaced I would definitely purchase again because it's still cheaper than buying a brand new vacuum cleaner.
Item received is not as pictured (received one with red inside handle), but it fits properly and works. Still better than buying a whole new vacuum. Noticed once again they changed the position of the guard coming from the top of the house. Seems Shark knows there is an issue with the hose cracking in that area, if only they could find a permanent solution. With each Shark I have bought over the past 9 years, that is one feature that seems to change each time.

Can not rate the durability as I have only had for a couple weeks. It seems to be the same quality as the original. Fit perfectly and is working well. Vacuume is working so much better with the hise replacement( the original had a hole near the top) I have had the Shark for about5-6 years now and still love it. Glad that there are replacement parts!
It fit our vacuum perfectly. It makes it feel like a brand new vacuum but it cost about half the price of buying a brand new vacuum. I realize it's an essential piece but it doesn't add up to me that the hose should be so expensive. So the product is great, they lose a star for the cost, it was about $70 when I got it.
My hose cracked at the handle on the one that came with the vacuum. I read other reviews that it wasn’t the same handle or cheaply made but I don’t know what they received. What I got was an exact replacement handle. I threw the old one out and put the new one on and you can’t even tell the difference.
It was nice to find a replacement for my hose that was cracked in several spots and starting to lose suction. Nice that I didn't have to buy a new vacuum cleaner but the price is a little ridiculous. I love my Shark so it's worth it to keep it running a while longer.
I love my Shark Professional vaccum, but my children are a little rough on it and parts wear out. I was pleased to be able to find a replacement part so that I didn't have to purchase a new vacuum cleaner.
Got this replacement hose a few months ago and have had no issues with it.
