I wear one on my hammering hand for blacksmithing, with a leather welding glove on the off hand that handles the stock. These are a good optimization of fit, grippiness, heat resistance, and economy. Most smiths hammer barehanded, because leather gloves don't grip a hammer handle adequately. These do, and they breathe better than leather. You can still feel heat through them well enough to move your hand before it burns.
For my use this is good, but if you are carrying something heavy and hot, maybe not so much. The yellow back will burn through if you get it too hot (easy to do when hammering radiant hot metal on an anvil), but it doesn't melt onto your skin like most synthetics, which is requirement number one for forging gloves. I get quite a bit of use out of these, even though I'm abusing their temp rating. I also wear (both of) them when handling hot metal in and out of a powder coat oven. Great gloves. If they would only wrap the rubberized coating around the index finger back where mine burn through (see photo), they would be perfect.

Fit is true to size. Measure the circumference of your hand across the palm. Mine is 9", and the size 9 is perfect.

I got these in size 7 (small) to put in my son's emergency bag. The quality is great. I am able to lift a boiling hot pot out of the fire with them and they still look the same. So it seems they will last. I will need to order a couple more pair for our shop.

The only thing is that they run big. I normally wear a medium in medical gloves and these fit me great, with room to spare. So I would love to see an extra small to better fit kids, or people with smaller hands.

I bought these for my husband to use when arranging logs in our pit or fireplace. He was always grabbing logs with his bare hands and moving them around as the fire burned and needed logs added. After a couple "almost" burns, I ordered these gloves. He now wears these and can move logs that are hot (of course by grabbing an end outside the flame, not the part that is actually on fire) and they are enough to protect his hands from the heat of the fire. Great price, and so far have held up and worked just as well as pricier ones we have tried. He actually prefers these over the expensive ones that came in his grill set because they are thin & don't limit his dexterity.
I have used them to adjust hot light bulbs in our track lighting (which must be done when the light is on so you can tell where it is shining) & they work great. I can still grasp the bulbs and maneuver the the lamp part with no burnt fingertips.
As far as sizing - my husband has small hands, and I have thin hands but long fingers, & the size 7 fits us both.

I purchased these for a future project that will involve heat molding white PVC pipe. In the meantime, my spouse wanted to clean out the refrigerator and freezer in the basement. She hates this chore, because her hands will get so cold from handling frozen food that it actually hurts/burns. She borrowed my 710 Nitrile Low-weight Gloves and began working. She stated that for the first time, her hands stayed warm and did not actually burn from the cold. She did not have to stop multiple times to allow her hands to warm up. She completed her task in quick fashion and in comfort. The gloves are durable, and still look new out of the package. I'll updated the heat properties when I've completed my project.

Being an apprentice in a large hotel and convention center in a tourist area I had to change a lot of light bulbs, ranging from 50W par38s to 450w high pressure sodium mogul bulbs. This helped alot don't get me wrong, I didn't grab a hot parking lamp bulb, but it did shorten the time I had to wait for it to cool. I could change 200w par 38s and smell the heat on the gloves, and if I held it long enough I would feel it. All in all good glove, and the texture was perfect for my application.

I love these. I bought them to wear putting my curlers in my hair, I have a steam setter and the rollers and or steam can be very hot, these are the best gloves I have found. They sell some yarn ones in the beauty section and they are HUGE and so worthless. Not only that, but they catch on the rollers. These are perfect, fit my hands which are a Large in gloves Size 7 or 7.5 respectively. I love them!

I bought these heat resistant gloves for my nephew. He was tired of burning his fingers at work so I bought him these. He says they fit just as expected. He also said they keep is hands from burning when touching the hot products at work. he did say if you continuously hold something hot you do start to feel it. But they work great for what he needs them for!

Good stuff. Use these for lighting on the rig. Burnt my fingers on some lemons before. Not with these. A little thin but it works.

There should be more info on the sizing for these gloves. They are a little big on me. They would be about the same size as an XL medical glove would be, so if you have smaller hands, maybe try to find a smaller size. I can deal with it being a bit big, but it is kind of annoying that there is not more of a sizing indicator or chart. Great quality tho. 4 stars just because of the sizing issue!

Using to hot-aim 37W halogen MR16 lamps - very nice! I'm able to spend more time holding the hot components of the light fixtures and lamp, making aiming faster. Gloves are thin enough we are able to feel what is happening. Still can get pretty hot and burn, but way better than the gloves we had before.
