I like to have some spare pairs of Jersey gloves, because I find them useful for a number of things. They are cheap and comfortable whether you are doing something that requires a bit of protection for your hands or whether you are trying to keep warm. For example, if you need to handle cut pine branches, these gloves are cheap enough to just throw out it they get covered by pine sap.
