Carhartt Men's Suede Work Glove with Knit Cuff, Brown, XX-Large

Carhartt have always been known for great work gloves (although they're not the brand they used to be anymore). I use these for handling tools, brush, chainsaw, firewood stacking -- they're pretty tough! They've lasted one season and look like they'll wear for a few more seasons, no problem. The upper side is "breathable" so you're not sweating inside of a suede bag. Once wet, however you'd want to have another pair of gloves to change into (as you'd expect on any hot summer day, they will get damp with sweat). I wouldn't use these for very long in the garden - you should have latex coated gloves for that (wet soil would soak right into these, and also ruin the appearance).

These gloves are excellent. Finally I got a set of work gloves that fit. My past work gloves have all been too small. It took me two tries to get the Carhartt gloves that fit. I originally ordered an XL. They were too small. When my fingers are spread out, the distance from the tip of my little finger to the tip of my thumb is 10". I returned the XL and got an XXL. They fit perfectly.

Bought 'em as a gift for my daughter and she LOVES 'em! Has been wearing 'em all week long while we're putting in a garden and securely fencing it against rabbits and deer.....She says they're some of the best gloves for this time of year that she's ever owned, and her hands are great proof of that -- nary a scratch or bruise on them, despite very hard work. Gloves came quickly, well packed, and reasonably priced - we couldn't be more happy. Warmly recommend both the vendor and the product, & happily will be back for more when we need 'em.

Finding work gloves for the garden is very hard for me. So when I found these several years, I was very happy. They fit very well, and now, when I ordered the second pair, the price was still the same, which was great. Tough, durable, and the thorns don;t stick me.

I got these for my dad for Christmas a few years ago. (He is the hardest person to shop for on the planet.) Normally he goes through a pair of heavy-duty work gloves every three days or so- he cuts and stacks firewood to sell to campers- but these lasted months. He loves them, and they’re a very fair price for the quality.

Description

Shell: durable cotton duck with suede cowhide palm and palm patch

This is the second pair I have bought to wear while working in the yard. The first pair held up for 5 years before becoming so soiled that I felt I would treat myself to a new pair. They are comfortable without binding, I wear XL.

I got these for hard work with tools. They are perfect and far outlast the cheapies. They are comfortable too. Typical Carhartt. These are not the lightweight cotton ones.

Love these gloves!
Tuff, ,durable and comfortable the elastic cuff keep dirt from getting inside the glove
I use to swear by the all leather gloves but will never go back after using these

These are for my husband and he really likes them! He has been splitting wood and they really protect well. We ordered the medium for him & they fit perfectly - they are tight enough so he can pick things up easily but not so tight that they are uncomfortable. He wears a 9-1/2 ring so I don't know if that will help anyone in choosing the correct size because I read some reviews that the medium seemed to be on the smaller side. Typically with any Carhartt product you don't go wrong.

I've been using chepo gloves before and they would last couple of weeks and fall apart. These gloves hold up really well and I only throw them away because they are dirty. The size is perfect too. I have bigger hands and the stretchy cuffs make the gloves really easy to put on. They are somewhat more expensive than chepo gloves, but the fit, durability and longevity more than make up for it.
