***UPDATE AT BOTTOM***

After reading mostly glowing reviews of these gloves I decided to give them a try. As an archaeologist, I'm constantly encountering heavy bush when hiking to sites (briars, dense new growth, poison ivy/oak/everything else, skeeters, ticks, etc.), and I then subject my gloves the rigors of digging and sifting shovel tests all day long. This often includes pressing on and manipulating unseen rocks, razor-sharp chert, glass, nails, bits of rusted metal, etc. At $3, I figured I'd buy a couple pair and see how they hold up.

I typically wear as-light-as-possible latex or nitrile dipped gloves in the warmer months, and the kind purchased from big box and convenient stores usually only last 1-2 weeks...frequently less. Those gloves have a comparable or higher price than these, so it's no loss if these only stand up for a comparable amount of time. Furthermore, those cheap cotton/poly gloves smell rancid after a few days of high humidity work, and rarely stand up to more than a couple of washes.

I was instantly smitten with the lightweight material on the non-coated portion of these gloves. While this may be a problem for those in cooler climes, it's definitely a plus to me until the warm Kentucky summer and early autumn days finally cool off. The material seems durable, but is so lightweight and of such a knit that it is possible to see my wedding ring through the top of the gloves. This could also be a problem when encountering brambles and poisonous plants/insects, but I didn't necessarily buy these for a high degree of back of the hand protection. I purchased these with the expectation they would be extremely lightweight and breathable---they certainly don't disappoint in that regard. I don't foresee stank as an issue, and the tags state they are treated with antimicrobials to help prevent funk. I cannot comment on this just yet. I will, however, say this: I am highly sensitive to odors, and these do not smell nearly as bad as latex or nitrile gloves. Latex and nitrile dipped gloves often give me a headache for the first couple hours when new, even after vigorously running my hands through dirt and grass to try to remove the smell. These do not emit much of an odor at all.

I have large hands (fairly long fingers that have almost all been broken multiple times) and ordered a size Large. The gloves fit well, a bit big in fact, so I am indeed happy with the fit. The dexterity is superb, as others have noted. The cuff of the glove extends quite far up the arm, at least two or three inches, so that may be a boon to those wishing to protect a watch or just wishing to have a little bit extra lightweight coverage for one's forearms. Also, while this is anecdotal, the surface of the dipped palms is smooth rather than rough, which seems to reduce the lifespan of this type of glove from my experience. We'll see how that goes.

I hope to post back soon with a review of the durability of the gloves after a few weeks of normal-for-me use, which may be considered to be heavy- to extreme- use by the standards of gardeners or weekend warriors (not at all being condescending, just intimating the fact that cats like me go through gloves rather quickly and have different expectations for an inexpensive glove). Those folks expecting years of use from a three dollar pair of gloves seem to be a bit too optimistic or just plain cheap in my humble opinion.

***UPDATE***
After a single day in the field these things were shredded at the creases of the fingers and thumb. The coating is holding up admirably thus far in the palms and fingertips, which are subjected to frequent and vigorous rubbing/screening of dirt, rocks, roots, and other jagged edges, but I don't foresee these lasting even a full week.

I dropped my review by one star due to the rips between fingers and, in particular, the rip in the thumb crease, which make using and carrying a shovel all day blister-inducing work. I didn't expect much for three bucks, but I expected a little more durability out of these. Indeed, I expected these to at least be on par with convenient and box store cheapos of a similar price but these certainly have disappointed in that regard (in my particular usecase). I'll try some duct tape over the hole/tear around the thumb crease and see if I can get another few days out of these. I'm not that cheap, I just want to see how well the palm and fingertips hold out (even though the thumb crease rips will prevent me from purchasing these again). Still, 4 stars is warranted as I can these standing up for quite some time in light- to moderate-usecases.

Used for stocking product.. They are thin but provide good protection for my hands which get dry and cracked when working without gloves. They have a good grip and being thin asked me to have a better fell for three product I'm stocking.

They don't smell. Many of these type of gloves make your hands stink

They are already deteriorating after a few weeks, otherwise 5 stars.

These gloves are amazing. I work as an electrician and am constantly on the hunt for gloves that are durable, flexible, and above all else, a good value. At $5 bucks a pair, I was very skeptical but hell, $5 bucks why not? I got them and am in love with them. They provide protection, i can grab a 1/4 by 3/8 bolt with no problem. Very well made and lasted me just over 3 months of continuous 8 hour work. I definitely will be investing in more pairs. Other than the thinner than I like material, they do what they are designed to do...provide protection, allow free hand movement, and a great value. Definitely recommending to all the people I work with.

excellent glove for the money I wash mine weekly and they are about month old and still going strong. Dexterity is great and the gloves fit well. The coating makes them a little warm to wear in the summer but tolerable.

Ordered these gloves and a few other styles to find the best glove for my needs, these are the best of the bunch and I have ordered various types. Would highly recommend these for light duty work of any type very good tactile feel and can pick up nickels, dimes and other thin objects with great touch sensitivity.

Description

Ninja-X Maximum Dexterity Gloves,Excellent dexterity, Great for Construction,Electrical Work,Landscaping, and Material Handling,Large size.

I bought these gloves for cool mornings to wear while I was riding the fence rows and checking cattle. They allowed me to open gates that were wet from dew and not get my hands all cold and wet. The seem to be wearing quite well. I wil reorder these gloves when needed.

This gloves have worked great around the house. I have used them for small projects and they are holding up well so far. I can grabbed things with ease and hold onto them with no problems.

Loves these for handling materials at work and home. Plus once used for a little while they turn into smart gloves! Excellent

Pros: lightweight, non bulky, maintains a good amount of dexterity (can screw on small parts/work with small parts), finger tips are water proof

Cons: can get slightly hot in the sun, fingertip ventilation is poor.

My review for this would be identical to my review for the same gloves in a different size. Good protection for the hands in light gardening or tire changing. Good comfortable gloves
