From the man of the house. I am rough on work gloves! We have a large veggie garden and orchard and I'm building a big pond which requires lots of rock work. I use work gloves for most of the things I do, and I'll wear out several sets a year. My wife got me this set of 3 as a gift recently -- and she also got another set Forney 53206 Cowhide Leather Palm Men's Work Gloves, X-Large, 3-Pack. I noticed that both types are made by Forney, and then I saw the price. These orange-and-green gloves are $13.29 for the set. The predominantly gray/green ones are nearly $19. I've checked the specs pretty carefully and looked over each type up-close. I can't see any difference in quality between the two. So this set is the better deal for your money.
However, having used them for a few weeks now, the orange does seem to stain my hands when I work up a sweat. It's not too bad -- just something I live with, but spending about 5-bucks more gets you a set that doesn't stain. Still, one star off for a dye that transfers to skin.
I like both these gloves and the other Forney set. All work gloves wear out, but I look for things like early failure due to stitches coming out. So far so good. I usually wear gloves out by having an index finger or thumb come through the leather. So far this has not happened, but being a type of suede, I suspect that this will be their weakness.
Still, these cost only $4.43/pair (when you get free shipping), which is a good deal for leather work gloves.

Have lasted longer than any other work gloves I have tried. Will by buying again if the ones I current have ever wear out. Only draw back is your hands will get stained yellow if they get wet, even from sweat.
Over the last 3 months, I wore these gloves for over 100 hours primarily for yard work (cutting lawn, trimming trees, shoveling etc.). The inside lining has just begun to wear out. All stitches on both hands are still intact so are still OK to use. Not sure how they would hold up doing heavier work but for daily hand protection they are excellent for the price. FYI, previous to these gloves, I purchased a cheaper set at half the cost where the stitches started breaking after only an hour or two of use, and after 3 hours fingers were exposed.
They work for me. a dainty pair of lady's garden gloves wasn't going to do it for pulling thorny weeds. These are doing their job so far, and helping me do mine.
True to size, flexible and soft but appear to be well made.
