Wells Lamont 4113S Women'S Suede Leather Palm Work Gloves,

Wells Lamont 4113S Women'S Suede Leather Palm Work Gloves, Small

Wells Lamont 4113S Women'S Suede Leather Palm Work Gloves, Small

I'll admit I'm harder on gloves than the average person. We're doing landscaping around our property which includes moving lots of rock. Around here the rock is basalt, so it's pretty abrasive. Needless to say, this is tough on gloves!

I have small hands, and it's nearly impossible to find a high quality leather work glove in a ladies' small, so I do appreciate Wells Lamont offering this glove in these sizes.

When we're not doing heavy duty landscaping work, I can get at least 6 months out of a set of these gloves, so I think for the average person they're worth the cost, but if you're doing anything more aggressive than shoveling bark dust or raking leaves, you'll want to look for something with higher quality leather.

These are the best gloves ever! I bought a pair a couple of years ago and they didn't fall apart like so many other gloves. I realize these are "work" gloves, but I use them for gardening....digging in the dirt. My hands are small and while they don't fit perfectly, they get the job done! Oh, I soaked the first pair in bleach and water to clean them up and they were almost like new afterwards, but bleach does take it's toll....even on these tough gloves. Will never go back to a regular gardening glove!!!!!

Finally! Heavy duty work gloves that actually fit. My local big box hardware store seems to think women only need cotton gardening gloves, because all of the leather work gloves are L or XL and are so big they rub blisters on my hands. These fit great and provide the heavy duty protection I need for doing real yard work (pulling bramble, yanking out milkweed, mowing, pruning trees). They wash up easily, too, and dry quickly so they are ready to go again. Bonus points for no blisters.

Tough, well-made gloves. Originally fit very well on my size 8 women's hands. Worn out now (after a year or so of garden use). Probably would have lasted longer had not my son worn them on his bigger hands and split the thumb seam on one hand. Ordered another pair. Deerskin this time. Those are softer but not as tough as these which help me not worry about thorns or the heat from burning branches. (I still wear them.)

They arrived on time, packed well.

The gloves are good, BUT they are not labeled Wells Lamont as advertised. They are similar in style and materials, but I feel they were misrepresented. I am keeping them because I cannot find the real Wells Lamont any longer--they have been discontinued, but they are servicable, and with my roses and other gardening chores, I need the style and leather material these gloves provide. The price was right and the fit is OK but they are definitely the Wells Lamont brand I was expecting.

So, I've got tiny girl hands, they're smaller than all my female friend's hands. Usually the only gloves I can find to fit are cheep and useless gardening gloves. These gloves are as rugged as my husband's and actually fit perfectly! I'll try and remember to check back in once I've had a change to try them out, but I think they're going to hold up ok.

Definitely recommend and will buy again. Fit like a glove...should.

Great gloves. Thinking about getting a couple more pair to keep in each vehicle. I use them for gardening when I have to drag large branches, shovel etc. Really protects my hands.

These fit just perfectly and work great for filling my wood stove and bringing in the wood.
