Let's just get this straight this in no way is comparable to chain mail gloves or will fully protect you from a knife. I bought these for kitchen purposes and thought these would be good for certain dangerous tasks in the kitchen. I found out that these tend to just get in the way while cutting. I have accidently cut these gloves and I can say it protects your fingers/hand from the inital paper cut style cut but if you were pressing down cutting then these gloves would not do a thing. I tend to keep my knife rather sharp and when I cut the glove it pretty much made a hole in the glove because it cut the stitching and sort of seperated to cause a small hole. From that point on I just took it off and used my regular hands. However I did end up using these gloves to grab small hot things around the kitchen. Let's also get this straight that these are no substitute for a dry towel or oven mit but for grabbing small fairly warm/hot things then the glove will reduce the heat transfer to your hand. I found somethings you need your fingers to grab certain china wear without getting your towel in them. Overall a decent buy and for the price I can't complain too much but I think there could be better cut resistant gloves out there.

At first glance the gloves look to thin to be effective, but the picture showing is pretty difenitive and from a 2500 degree glowing glass rod that hit my index finger. Saved me from a real bad burn.
They aren't very durable and do wear out after about 100 hours of work, but That being said if your work requires dexterity thin is what you need.

Fit well and are well made and comfortable to wear for long carving sessions. I create finger and thumb guards with protective tape, mainly to prolong the gloves, but also to minimize the possibility of a stab or poke wound, which is less likely than a slicing wound but might be more of a problem if you are an aggressive carver. The gloves should last a long time if taken care of. I am very happy with them.

these have become my go to under glove liner. i can't wear latex or other medical/food gloves with out liners and these have been great. these are a bit on the thick size, but they are durable and still allow me enough "touch sensitivity" that i can turn screws, bolts or write.

while i love these gloves and they are my current "go to" glove, i still feel that these make my sense of touch a bit too numb.

I use these as "undergloves" for waterskiing. I've used this combination for years as a California delta and course skier to prevent blisters. These are a bit thicker than the ones you get from watersports stores. The thickness is not necessarily an issue, but the outer glove you use may need upsized.

I don't know if they will be more durable as a result of the thickness, will update this at end of skiing season.

I haven't used them yet, but they appear to be good quality and long enough in the fingers for my hands. The thumb isn't quite long enough for my hands but I seldom find any gloves long enough. They arrived on time. I'll know more about their quality when I start woodcarving in November.

These gloves are fine. After fretting about the sizing, the ones I wound up ordering are a little to large, but that's not a biggie if I put on a pair of latex gloves first. Actually, I'm a very careful user of blades (though I did learn the hard way), but still wear protection when using the mandoline or engaging in any heavier than usual chopping with the chef's knives.

Pretty good as secondary under glove. Thought it could be thicker but great for handling wood projects and metal, no splinters so far. Would have given them five stars but as soon as I wore them by their selves they ended up with a hole from handling\throwing wood too long. Glad they had different sizes, plus b\c I have small women working fingers. Would purchase again, they do keep hands warm as long as they are underneath.

Glad to find these to replace my old worn out glove liners I had originally bought at waterski school.
These help to reduce wear and tear of my hands under my watersi gloves.

I am a meat cutter for a large chain, and we are required to were safety mesh gloves. I purchased these several times and they work great. NO CUTS
